The NEET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key is finally out! The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the provisional responses for the medical entrance exam held earlier this year. If you are one of the lakhs of students who appeared, now it is the time to analyze your performance and prepare for the next phase.

Whether you are aiming for MBBS, BDS, or AYUSH courses, here is everything you need to know from checking the answer key to calculating your marks and raising objections.

What is the Provisional Answer Key?

The provisional answer key provides the correct responses to the questions asked in the NEET UG 2025 exam, held on 4th May 2025. It allows candidates to cross-check their responses and calculate estimated scores before the final results are announced.

Visit the official NTA NEET website: https://neet.nta.nic.in

Click on the link titled “NEET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key”

Login using your Application Number and Date of Birth

View or download the PDF of the answer key

📝 Challenge the Answer Key (If Needed)

Candidates who find discrepancies in the answer key can challenge specific answers by submitting their objections online.

Submit your challenges by 5th June 2025 at 11:50 PM only. No objections will be accepted afterward.

Fee: ₹200 per question (non-refundable)

Keep a copy saved for future reference, especially if you plan to challenge any questions.

Note: Only genuine and well-supported challenges will be considered. Avoid guesswork to save your time and money.

Make sure to attach proper proof or justification while submitting the objections.

Calculate Your Expected Score

Use the marking scheme to estimate your NEET UG 2025 score:

+4 marks for every correct answer

-1 mark for every incorrect answer

0 marks for unattempt questions

Example: If you attempted 160 questions, got 140 correct, and 20 wrong: Estimated Score = (140 × 4) - (20 × 1) = 560 - 20 = 540 marks

After the challenge window closes, NTA will Review all objections.
